Play a PC game without the physical disc! After copying the game, VirtualDrive will place an icon on your desktop. You can then simply click on the icon to launch the game without having to insert the disc everytime you want to play.
The game is stored on your hard drive as a compressed disc image file, or virtual CD, or MP3-like files that run directly on a hard drive and contains a driver that fools Windows into treating it as if it were a physical CD running in a CD-ROM drive.

Support: The support provided for VirtualDrive is ok but sometimes slow. They provide a faq section and also the ability for you to create a support ticket with turnaround times being from 1 to 5 days.
Overall:
VirtualDrive is a nice program for copying PC games... CD & DVD. You can also burn data, music, and game CDs and DVDs directly from VirtualDrive. However, if you like playing a lot of PC games it's pretty nice to have them compressed into a small file and placed on your hard drive whereas in order to play the game all you have to do from them forward is to click on an icon that the program places on your desktop.
VirtualDrive also lets you archive your virtual CDs in a searchable library, transport them on a laptop computer, and share them over a network. You can pre-load up to 23 “virtual drives,” swapping out virtual discs via hot keys.
On the downside, Farstone, the creators of VirtualDrive, have no intentions of creating any more versions of VirtualDrive and only offer updates to the one offered here VirtualDrive Features Include:
